TIP-036 – Shoulder Roll Release

The Tip

Do three slow shoulder rolls forward and three backward. Let the movement be heavy, slow, and easy.

Why It Works

Tension gathers in the shoulders when stress builds up. Slow rotations help release that cluster of micro-tightness, reset posture, and send a signal of safety to the nervous system.

How to Do It

  1. Inhale gently.
  2. Roll your shoulders forward in a slow, circular motion ×3.
  3. Roll them backward ×3.
  4. On the last roll, exhale longer than usual.
  5. Let the shoulders drop naturally.

When to Use It

  • When you feel stiff or overloaded
  • Before speaking in a stressful moment
  • During long work periods or emotional processing
  • Any time your body feels “compressed”

Optional Add-On

After the last backward roll, tilt your head slightly side to side to release the neck line.
