TIP-018 – Exhale Twice Reset

When the mind speeds up, the breath usually follows.
This tiny intervention slows both down instantly.

How to do it

  1. Exhale fully once.
  2. Without inhaling deeply, exhale a second time — a smaller emptying of the lungs.
  3. Then let the inhalation come naturally on its own.
  4. Repeat 2–3 cycles.

This “double emptying” signals the body to release tension and drop one level down in intensity.

Why it works

Physiologically, the second exhale activates the parasympathetic system and lowers internal pressure, giving your brain a micro-moment of clarity and control.
